A Creepster Christmas

So one of the the "quirks" of our new house is that there is a rather large portion (5 more rooms!) that is semi un-restored.  I'm not sure when the last update was done, but lets just say...it's been a while.
Needless to say, we don't spend a lot of time there because it's not heated and it's, well, SUPER creepy.  It does have electricity, but I don't dare going over there after dark.
When you live in a house that is over 200 years old, there is an inherent creep factor, and add an unused portion of a house, I'm sure you can imagine.  Or maybe I'm just crazy.  Probably that.
I mean, does a door like this make you want to go in?  Ever?
Although, after living in the house for almost two months now, we have come to appreciate this rather odd space and lovingly refer to it as "the creepster".  We've even turned it into a verb.  We are still coming across items (mostly from Neal's rather bachelor-pad-like-former house, if you catch my drift...ehem) that just don't have a place in our new house, and it is becoming dangerously easy to just "creepster it".  Meaning just throw it in the creepster, and move on.
At this point it's kind of just a dumping ground.  I'm sure this spring after the moving and holiday madness, I'll get industrious and actually get it cleaned up.
For now, it's just...
The Creepster.
Maybe one day I'll get around to telling you what a "Geecher" is.  Maybe.

    1. Super creepy! When we first moved in, I refused to go in the house after dark alone!
